There is a gale blowing outside and as I start to write this we've just lost out electricity. I thought when the snow and ice eventually sloped off to whereever it came from in the first place that we'd seen the last of the bad winter weather....but no.

But that probably says more about me than it does about the weather. Anyway it reminded me of an old saying, " There are three types of people in the world, those you wait for something to happen, those who make it happen and those who wonder ' what just happened ?' ".

I put our John firmly in the "make it happen" category. He is always better prepared and kitted out. today while I'm surprised and alarmed at the stormy weather ,he is in kitted out like this.....,

He is looking very stylish, and a little smug, in his CAT Insulated Tech jacket , his Snickers 3214 work trousers and his toasty in his Haix Montana Gore-Tex boots. In fact he is the living embodiement of Brix Workwear !

I love him,almost like a brother.
