Why do Super Villians always fail ? (Freebie Friday #10)

Today I am writting a letter to the Advertising Standars Authority to complain bitterly about the flippant use of the prefix "Super" in the description of these alledged villians. These people invariably fail in their badly thought out adventures and almost always fail within 30 or 60 minutes of their adventure starting ! And they are almost always incredibly badly dressed...apart from Catwoman.

They generally have no super powers at all , and second only to their appallingly badly planned "plots" are their poor choice in henchmen. Where do they get these oafs ?

I think that they should be described as "Pantiomime Villains" instead as this sums them up perfectly.

Their plots revolve around either taking over the world, Gotham City, or stealing a poorly guarded, but unfeasibly large diamond from "the museum". And they cannot help themselves by flagging their intentions BEFORE they attempt to commit their endeavour. Why not wait until after commiting the crime before telling everyone and their mother about it ?? Can you name a single super hero related adventure/drama/comic or cartoon in which the "baddies" target or potential crime wasn't revealed in the first 5 minutes and then our hero spends the next 25 minutes foiling their plans.....?

We here at the 4th largest workwear store in Monaghan are proud of who and what we are, sure we'd like to claim that we were the third largest workwear store in Monaghan but that would be untrue and , well, we just wouldn't rest well in our beds making that claim.

Anyway that's the little rant over. My favourite villain was the amazingly bad Mojojojo from the much under rated series "The Power Puff Girls " which had the best theme song ever from a cartoon :

This , unbelievably , is Freebie Friday #10 , and our questions this week are :

1. Which Super Villain would you be ,and why ?

2. The Snickers 3214 work trouser will protect you from Pantomime villains for what unbelievably low price ??

Winner of last week's €100 voucher was Dee O'Rourke.

We have another €100 voucher up for grabs today.

Cheers,

Paul

P.S. Apart from the fantabulous PPG theme , today I am listening to The White Stripes "Rag & Bone"...play it very, very loud !
